Join the family, friends and fans of the PALS Children’s Chorus as we celebrate two decades of inspired artistry and world-class music education. Following our inception in 1989, PALS quickly earned a national reputation for excellence, regularly performing with ensembles such as the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Boston Lyric Opera, as well as in independent concerts and theatrical productions. In honor of the occasion, PALS’ visionary founder Johanna Hill Simpson will join forces with current Artistic Director Alysoun Kegel to conduct a program showcasing the beauty and power of children’s voices. Generations of alumni will travel to join the PALS choristers on stage, paying tribute to this unique moment in Boston’s musical history. Featuring the Boston premiere of Twelve Opposites by Caroline Mallonée and the world premiere of A Place Called Morning by Eleanor Bragg.
